Rochelle Manor, Ph.D.
Rochelle Manor
Dr. Manor is a neuropsychologist specializing in assessment from a holistic, developmental approach and in providing diagnostic clarification. She is an expert in assessing children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autistic spectrum disorders, cognitive impairments, acquired brain injury, mental health/behavioral issues, learning disabilities and attention-deficit disorders. She is also available to conduct guardianship evaluations. Dr. Manor enjoys training family members and professionals to better understand the nuances of developmental conditions and treatment. Dr. Manor has experience conducting research, frequently provides consultation and training, and presents at conferences on topics relating to pediatric/childhood issues.
Michael Wolff, Psy.D.
Dr. Wolff specializes in children/adolescent, but is able to evaluate adults on a case by case basis, depending on the referral question and developmental/medical history. He provides a variety of assessments including comprehensive neuropsychological, developmental, and psychological evalutations for complex developmental issues, acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, attention-deficit disorder, personality issues, autistic spectrum disorders and related mental health/behavioral issues. He continues to specialize in child/adolescents medical and congenital conditions and how they influence neuropsychological functioning and development. Dr. Wolff has experience conducting research, frequently provides consultation and training, and presents at conferences on topics relating to pediatric/childhood issues.

Dr. Lien works with children ages birth through late adolescence/early adulthood and specializes in both social-emotional and 2chronic illness issues. Her main areas for treatment include school and learning issues, adjustment to chronic illness and adherence issues (e.g., diabetes, cancer, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorders), child behavioral issues (e.g., toileting, sleep, tantrums), and mood issues (e.g., depression, anxiety). Dr. Lien also conducts diagnostic evaluations for concerns such as developmental delay, autism, and hyperactivity/inattention. Research interests include early identification and intervention for social-emotional difficulties and adjustment to pediatric chronic illness.
Andrea Rotzien, Ph.D.

Dr. Rotzien has been Assistant Professor at GVSU 2001-2008 teaching classes for psychology-special educational programs, including cognitive impairment, developmental psychopathology, psychology and education of exceptional children. Research and clinical interests include maltreatment of children, sexual violence, eating disorders, attachment issues, and developmental disabilities. Pediatric psychology is also an area of specialization.

Stephanie Silverman, MA LLP

Ms. Silverman has experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults in residential and outpatient settings.  Areas of experience, training and interest include self-injury, depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, emotional dysregulation, family conflict, developmental issues, peer relations, parenting concerns, blended families, divorce, post-partum depression, pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, becoming parents, marital issues, identity issues and grief and oss.

Kris Henderson, M.A.
Kris has a Masters in Counseling Education & Counseling Psychology and is devoting substantial time specializing in using neurofeedback with children, adolescents and adults. Neurofeedback is an exciting treatment that offers hope to people and has been demonstrated to be highly effective in treating symptoms of physical and psychological disorders. She has extensive experience working in educational settings providing substance abuse prevention services, assisting gifted students and as a school counselor. Kris has also used her knowledge base toward training sessions for parents focusing on challenging behaviors and developmental issues, and has worked with children and adolescents through specialized groups focusing on such topics as leadership, communication skills, self-esteem and other life skills.
Jennifer Bazner, M.A., LPC

Jennifer Bazner earned her MA in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University and has been counseling clients of all ages across the lifespan since 2000.

Along with neurofeedback, Jennifer’s clinical experience includes extensive work with individuals, couples and groups involving many psychological and life issues. Jennifer is experienced in using neurofeedback to achieve improvements with numerous psychological and life concerns. In addition to neurofeedback and psychotherapy, Jennifer has experience in neuropsychological research and testing. As an undergraduate emphasis, Jennifer focused on human neuropsychology and research investigating the neurological mechanisms involved in learning and memory. She is currently working on neuropsychological research investigating the efficacy of neurofeedback for various diagnoses.
Rene' Manker, PT, Early Interventionist, Developmental Specialist, Specialist in Sensory Processing Disorders
Rene Manker
Rene' is a professional with a passion for understanding how sensory processing issues may be effecting a child's overall development, particularly in the social emotional area. She believes that some behavior can be a result of inaccurate sensory processing that is often misinterpreted as a child "acting out." She uses a whole child approach in her evaluation process, looking at all areas of development to determine how accurately the child's nervous system is processing sensory information, thereby providing a "sensory profile." Rene' has 25 years experience in working with children from birth to age 12 encompassing such roles as an evaluator in educational as well as home settings, a consultant on a transdisciplinary team, a parent group leader, a service coordinator for families, and a service provider in school and home settings. In addition to evaluation, Rene' can offer treatment intervention via home programs, sensory diets, and ongoing intervention sessions to promote sensory integration to improve overall functioning at home and at school. She is also attending specialized training in the Anat Baniel Method.
Julie Koch, M.S., CCC-SLP
Julie is a Speech and Language Pathologist and an Advanced Orton-Gillingham Tutor. She specializes in the remediation of dyslexia and related language disorders with children in grades K-12. She implements a highly systematic, structured, explicit, and intensive multisensory instructional program on individual basis with students. This program targets phonological processing, alphabetic principle, and also vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. She provides guidance to her clients and their families in the areas of home programs, assistive technology, and accommodations that are necessary for a successful school experience.
Tom Denczek, MSW, LCSW

Currently enrolled 3rd year doctoral program: Institute for Clinical Social Work.

Mr. Denczek gained direct experience in his work through the court system, schools, residential treatment centers, and the community mental health system. Mr. Denczek provides services to adolescents and their families, specializing in a behavioral and learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Mr. Denczek understands the challenges of raising children and actively works within his practice to educate parents and children to better understand the unique obstacles are preventing them from achieving more productive patterns of communication and interaction.
Brad Bridges, LMSW

Brad earned his Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Masters of Social Work from Grand Valley State University.

He is experienced working with intensive behavioral difficulties and a wide range of diagnoses with children and adolescents, including autistic spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, physical and emotional trauma, and substance abuse. Brad is knowledgeable on mental health resources in the West Michigan community, and has worked with children and families through multiple settings, including residential treatment, intensive in-home therapy, and outpatient counseling. Brad also believes strongly in group treatment with children and adolescents, and is continuing to develop therapy groups beneficial to children in the community.
Joe Schelling, BSW
Joe Schelling
Joe has earned his Bachelors of Social Work from Kuyper College and has been working with children and adolescents in various settings and disabilities for nearly ten years.  Joe has worked extensively with behaviorally and cogitative challenged youth in both community and residential settings.

He has also worked with neurodevelopmental differences in residential settings.  Joe has gained valuable experience in the therapeutic nature of community integration and the social nuances that can often be difficult to learn.  Joe's approach is very relational and looks to build trust in people and community.  Joe is married and has two small children at home and enjoys playing sports with them all.  He also enjoys golfing, playing his guitar and enjoying a cup of coffee with just about anyone.
Janice L. Dewey, M.A., L.P.C.

Janice Dewey is a Licensed Professional Counselor, having earned her master’s degree in Counseling Education/Counseling Psychology from WMU in 1994. She is a certified teacher who has worked for Tri County Area Schools for over 33 years with experience teaching K-9 music, developmental kindergarten, traditional kindergarten, and second grade, as well as serving as the district’s elementary school counselor from 1994-2001.

Jan has experience as a consultant, facilitator, and coordinator for a variety of educational teams, including Section 504 coordinator, Lifeskills and Character Education, Behavior Management, Teacher Assistance, Cturiculum/Educational Planning, and Crisis Response. She is interested in working as a psychoeducational consultant with educators, parents, and students to provide them with "best practice" techniques, strategies, interventions, and accommodations for optimal development and growth in learning.

Dave McGovern
Dave McGovern is an educator and counselor.  Dave has a Masters degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology and is currently working on his second Masters in School Counseling.  Dave has been a high school guidance counselor at Holland West Ottawa and Behavior Intervention Specialist in the Lansing Public Schools.  He is also a certified Diversity Trainer.   He is especially interested in helping teens and young adults excel in school and in their careers.  Dave’s specialties include: career testing & counseling, educational planning, special education, and parenting skills.
