Carrie Zinser, LMSW

Carrie has specialized in early childhood development, having worked in an ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) program for over 10 years.  Prior to that, she worked in a general education elementary setting servicing school staff, parents and students encountering behavioral challenges.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology and Master's in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. She enjoys working with all children and their families, however specializes in the preschool population. 

Carrie believes in empowering parents and children so they can make positive choices to optimize their functioning. Carrie provides social playgroups for preschoolers at BRAINS, which help teach parents how to use play to facilitate communication, physical, and social development.

She has expertise in working with medical complications, sensory integration issues, ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, and other neurodevelopmental and learning concerns.
