Heather Herrick, MS, OTR, ETS
Heather earned both her Bachelors Degree in Health Science with a minor in Spanish, and her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, at Grand Valley State University. Heather has experience working with evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses, in both outpatient rehabilitation and inpatient psychiatric settings. Her chief areas of interest and expertise are sensory integration, bonding/attachment issues, dyspraxia, handwriting, community integration, eating disorders and alternatives to guardianship. Heather has also been a mentor to “at risk” students through the Kid’s Hope USA program for almost 5 years. Heather firmly believes in the power of occupational therapy to improve a child/youth’s ability to interact with his/her family and world more successfully.
