BRAINS/DeVos Children's Hospital Student Training Program
BRAINS and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital are pleased to offer a consortium model of training. This Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship is designed to meet the one-year pre-doctoral internship requirements for students in Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Students from other psychology doctoral programs may also apply. Program Goals and Objectives: BRAINS-DeVos Training Program is designed to train psychologists in developmental psychology, neuropsychological assessment with children/adolescents, and treatment for families affected by medical complications and neurodevelopmental differences that affect learning and behavior. The Training Program hopes to train psychologists in the specialization of pediatric psychology, Neuropsychology, and treatment within the context of multidisciplinary teams. Application Process: BRAINS and DeVos Consortium utilizes the AAPI (APPIC application for Psychology Internship) standardized by APPIC/APA.
