Julie earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2011. She has extensive experience administering neuropsychological assessments and working with clients and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, dementias, concussions and traumatic brain injuries.
Julie’s passion as a therapist is to assist people moving through life transitions and coping with personal challenges. She works with people of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, loss and the emotional aspects of living with neurological disorders. Recognizing each client has different needs; Julie uses elements of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and other therapies to help clients. With her compassion and understanding, she strives to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where the client feels safe sharing their story.
