This presentation is appropriate for:
- Parents or caregivers with children and young adults who have been newly diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Parents & caregivers can expect to learn:
- Common behaviors at each developmental stage
- Age appropriate interventions and parenting strategies
- The benefits of utilizing various professional and community resources to support your child’s growth and development
- Tips for future planning
Time will be provided for questions and open dialogue. There will be refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres. Autism 101 will occur at BRAINS Main Campus four times a year.
