Biography
Emily is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) behavior technician working with children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is currently attending Calvin University for a dual BA/MA degree in speech pathology. Throughout her studies, she has been especially interested in child language development. She is still exploring what setting she would like to work in upon completion of her degree.
Emily loves seeing the creative ideas kids have and encouraging that joy and creativity. For the past two summers, she has found it gratifying to work at a day camp with kids ages 5-14. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being in the great outdoors, and watercolor painting.
