Geoffrey currently serves as a licensed therapist working with adults and adolescents addressing a variety of treatment and lifestyle concerns. Geoffrey specializes in working with youth and adults with depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma, emotional regulation deficits, and other mental health/life challenges in a variety of settings including individual, group, or family counseling. Prior to joining BRAINS, Geoffrey conducted therapy in community-based settings and spent time working with youth transitioning to adulthood in residential environments. In addition to counseling and community work, Geoffrey teaches psychology and social work courses in institutes of higher education.

Geoffrey uses a holistic approach when partnering with his clients. He effectively utilizes the strengths perspective into his clinical work to empower patients to work through their goals. This approach helps with building an autonomous and healthy therapeutic relationship.

Geoffrey was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area and enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, traveling, and fishing.
