Patricia has practiced as a pediatric occupational therapist since receiving her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, in 2013 from Grand Valley State University.
Above all else, Patricia strives to provide family-centered intervention planning for improved participation in activities of daily living. She believes in open communication and enjoys facilitating a child’s growth and independence.
Patricia applies her skills and expertise within a large population, including infancy to early adulthood. Her treatment approach involves child-led play and behavioral techniques used to promote engagement and independence in daily activities.
Patricia is dedicated to evidence based practice has pursued continuing education in programs such as; The P.L.A.Y Project, Visual Perception and Childhood Occupations, Brain Gym, selective eating/feeding, the Sensory Side of Pediatric Toe Walking, and Pediatric Pelvic Floor Evaluation and Treatment, among others.
Patricia is licensed by the state of Michigan and registered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
