Our Approach

BRAINS is a multidisciplinary team providing assessment and therapy services to children and adults. We strive to provide the personalized care of a private practice while offering a variety of services typically found at much larger facilities. We are continually evaluating the most current research and client feedback to provide the highest level of care possible.

Next Step

For physicians or other professionals interested in referring a patient to BRAINS, a referral can be made in a few ways. BRAINS participates with GLHC/Holon/MiHIN (Michigan Health Information Network) to send referrals and share electronic medical records. To make a referral or for more information regarding GLHC/Holon/MiHIN, please visit gl-hc.org . If GLHC/Holon/MiHIN is not available, please fax medical records to 616-365-8971.

Patients are also invited to contact BRAINS directly and our staff will answer questions and schedule an appointment with one of our professionals if appropriate. For mutual existing patients, our staff frequently communicates with physicians, teachers, and other professionals to coordinate care according to HIPAA guidelines.
