Biography

Bob is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has knowledge and experience working with people of all ages, but specializes in adults, adolescents and families with ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, depression and anxiety. Bob has been providing clinical services for over 25 years with more than half of that time as a clinical supervisor at Community Mental Health. He has specialized trainings in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) through the Rational Living Therapy Institute, trauma focused CBT for children and adolescents, and motivational interviewing.

Bob was born and raised in West Michigan and began his career in adolescent residential services here before moving to Central Michigan. He has recently returned home to West Michigan. Bob Attended Michigan State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (GO GREEN) and Western Michigan University for Master of Social Work.

Bob has two grown children and a daughter-in-law. Besides spending time with his children and extended family he is an avid sports fan and loves being outside, especially fishing and skiing. He also has a passion for cooking, travel, photography, and Petoskey stones.
