Biography

Mackenzie started with BRAINS as a BCBA in August of 2024. She has over 4 years of experience in working in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders. Mackenzie has worked with a wide range of clients from ages 2-20 with varying needs and behavioral levels.  She enjoys emphasizing community participation and values helping families create memories.

Mackenzie grew up in the Grand Rapids area and started her ABA journey at BRAINS in 2020. She received her Masters in Special Education (ABA) at Arizona State University and was able to gain clinical experience in a variety of settings to include schools, clinics, and in home ABA services. Currently, Mackenzie lives in the Rockford area with her husband, 2 children, and 4 cats. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
