ABA Behavior Technician

Biography

Sam is an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) behavior technician working with children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  She is working towards a degree in Psychology and Sociology at Grand Valley State University.  Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she plans to continue her education and pursue master’s and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology.  She hopes to utilize her degree as a clinical or forensic psychologist.

Sam has varied experiences working with children at Sunday School and Vacation Bible School as well as babysitting and child care.  She is inspired by the joy and hope demonstrated by children.  In her free time, Sam enjoys volunteering at a cat shelter, working out at the gym, and playing video games.
