A Look Inside 2019
December 17, 2019
2019 was a year of tremendous change. After exceeding our facility’s capacity in 2018, we opened a second location; our billing department has grown to respond to challenging and ever-complex billing codes and insurance nuances; and we continued to adapt to a new electronic medical record system that allows for a better user experience for clients, support staff, and clinicians.
In an attempt to provide more consistent access to clients and expand our culture of collaboration, BRAINS has strategically recruited and hired several full-time clinicians this year. We are delighted in the caliber of experience, energy, and expertise of our new staff. Our emphasis on implementing best practices, responding to community needs, and integrating well with the existing team at BRAINS has been very successful. Our ABA program continues to see tremendous growth, as we hire more behavioral experts to serve children with severe autism. And, our Occupational Therapy department welcomed a new director who is building group opportunities and exploring avenues for increased access for clients of all ages.
Clinical service and outreach have remained focal to our mission. As you will see in the pages that follow, BRAINS continues to persevere in our efforts to innovate, serve our community, and provide the very best care possible.
All our best,
