Psychologist/Neuropsychologist

This is a full-time position working as a member of a team which provides psychological and neuropsychological testing services to children, teens, and adults. The psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological assessments. The position joins our team of psychologists and neuropsychologists that service different populations throughout the life span. The right candidate will: 

  • Be appropriately licensed in Michigan as a fully licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) 
  • Be able to work independently at times as well as part of a larger team 
  • Have experience administering psychological assessments independently 
  • Have great communication skills 
  • Be well-organized and good time management skills 
  • Be a self-motivated and eager to learn 

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Provide comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment of all types of developmental disabilities and neuro-developmental differences for children, adults, and older adults. 
  • Provide accurate and pertinent diagnoses for insurance billing, treatment, and educational purposes. 
  • Model and promote good communication and positive representation of the program to consumers, customers, other program areas, and the public. 
  • Collaborate with family, school, and other professionals as clinically needed

Our core values are expertise, high standards, compassion, hard work ethic, and team approach.  BRAINS clients are individuals ranging from infancy through late adulthood; however, a majority of the clients served are looking for treatment for their children with challenges in behavior or mood regulation, have a neurodevelopmental disability, and families experiencing marital and/or family tension, or are seeking support. To meet these needs, the company is expanding services, enhancing interventions in the community.

Benefits:  This full-time position will include the following benefits: health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan after 1 year of employment, short/long term disability, life insurance, and flexible scheduling. Candidate can have flexible scheduling options, but this is a full-time position.  Compensation is based on a percent of fees collected for services rendered.
