Payment Policy Changes

BRAINS has adapted payment policies for therapy appointments to provide more accuracy, ease, and confidence to our patients and to overcome challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. These important payment policy changes may affect you and/or your child’s account beginning Monday, March 1st, please review the following changes carefully. Payments for therapy appointments will be due when your claim has fully processed.

Ways this benefits you,

1. Accuracy

  • -Avoid over or under-paying.
  • -You’ll know exactly what your insurance covered. Patient responsibility amounts can vary depending on your benefits, diagnosis, and time-based billing codes.
  • -Your payment will be applied directly to the balance owed.

2. Ease

-You can utilize your patient portal to see balances that are due and make payments online.
-You can save a credit card on your file for easy processing.
-Your receipt will be available immediately after making a payment.

3. Confidence and Control

-You can pay your balance on your patient portal, when you receive a statement in the mail, or pay over the phone with a billing or intake specialist.
-You can be confident knowing your payment is accurate.
