Biography
Julia received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!) in Recreational Therapy, with a minor in Psychology. She attended graduate school at Davenport University where she received her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Julia has experience working in a wide variety of settings with various age ranges, however has a passion for outpatient pediatrics, where she can work on life skills, through play, art or other strategies. Her areas of interest include ASD, ADHD, sensory processing, reflex integration, mental health diagnoses and so much more.
Julia is originally from Metro Detroit area, but currently resides in Grand Rapids with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Knox. In her free time, Julia enjoys spending time outdoors, being with her family and friends and exploring new activities around Grand Rapids. Julia is excited to be a part of such wonderful team and to help younger individuals meet their goals in a fun and accepting environment.
