Sandy Mays

Sandy joined BRAINS in June 2022 and currently serves as Benefits Specialist.  She has over 30 years of experience as Office Manager including HR and Payroll/Benefits.   She attended Eastern Michigan University studying Special Education.  She is grateful to be working at BRAINS where so many individuals have a chance to overcome mental health issues with care and dignity.

She was born in Grand Rapids but moved to Ann Arbor during her teens and eventually returned to Grand Rapids to be with family.  Sandy has two grown children, a son and a daughter, and two very spoiled Labrador Retrievers (Sherlock and Watson).  When not at work she enjoys gardening, reading,  searching thrift stores for treasures and a good glass of wine while sitting outside in the quiet.
