Biography

Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin University in Psychology (concentration in neuropsychology) and a Biochemistry minor. She worked as an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) behavior technician for one year before attending graduate school. She attended the University of Michigan- Dearborn where she received a Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology. During her studies she did her practicum at BRAINS with the clinical team administering neuropsychological and psychological assessments. She looks forward to continuing working with the clinical team as well as joining the behavioral team. She works mostly with adults and teens using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). However, she believes that treatment is personal and will tailor her approach for you. Sarah works with teens and adults who experience anxiety and depression.

Sarah was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She moved to Grand Rapids for University in 2016 and now currently lives here with her husband. Sarah enjoys being outside, especially when it is sunny. She loves being with friends and family, traveling and is always down to try something new.
