Biography
Tess is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) behavior technician working with children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is working towards a degree in occupational therapy at Davenport University. Upon completion of her studies, she hopes to become an occupational therapist in a hospital setting, specializing in neuro rehabilitation or hand therapy.
Tess has extensive experience working with children and individuals with special needs as a camp counselor and mentor, Sunday school teacher, babysitter, and a kindergarten teacher’s aide. She loves being able to watch children develop and grow and explore their areas of interest. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, reading, spending time with family and friends, and playing sports.
