BRAINS Neuropsychologists Receive National Spotlight at AAPdN Conference

American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology badge

We are pleased to share that a team of our doctors had the honor of presenting at the annual conference for the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology. Dr. Michael Wolff, Dr. Jennifer Maurer, and Dr. Christina Warholic were invited panelists and presented on “The Simple Complexity of Autism Spectrum Disorders.”

BRAINS’ Neuropsychologists were the only practitioners to present on the important topic of Autism Spectrum Disorders and represented Michigan as experts in the field. This lecture aimed to address and educate their peers about the unique challenges neuropsychologists face when determining an autism diagnosis and ruling out other similar conditions.

Originally planned for Las Vegas, the conference was initially canceled in response to the coronavirus outbreak and then adapted to a virtual format. Drs. Wolff, Maurer, and Warholic presented amongst top practitioners in the field. Nearly 400 conference participants were in virtual attendance and the feedback has been incredibly positive. Please join us in celebrating our team’s success and this prestigious honor!
