BRAINS provides expertise in understanding and treating all aspects of autistic spectrum disorders (including autism, PDD NOS, and Asperger’s Syndrome.) Our team consists of specialists for young children through adulthood. We provide counseling to address emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, and anger. Our counselors also work with the individual to develop social and communication skills, executive functioning skills, and other skills for building relationships and independence. BRAINS also offers a team of occupational, physical, and speech therapists to address challenges with language, sensory processing, coordination, and other physical and behavioral challenges. Services can also include group therapy for building social skills, parent consultation for developing strategies to address challenging behaviors in children, sibling support, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) for in-home services.
